About Us

BWA Architecture was founded in 1993 as a joint venture by Stephen D. Baker and Margaret E. "Garet" Wohl,  and incorporated in 1995.  BWA’s reputation of excellence in design and project management was built over a 20 year span.  With the retirement of Garet Wohl in 2014, Steve Baker is at the helm of BWA as President; with Ahmed Idris, Taulant Miloshi, Daniel Bass, and Virginie Nogara in leadership positions.  Ahmed joined BWA in 1999 and has been a Principal and Board Member since 2008.  Taulant has been with BWA since 2005 and was promoted to Principal in 2015. Daniel Bass has been on board since 2003 and was promoted to Associate Principal in 2017.  Virginie was promoted to Associate Principal in 2019. Taulant and Daniel now serve as members of the Board of Directors. The leadership transition has been smooth and will ensure BWA's long-term future.
