The project consisted of a comprehensive assessment of a 33,000 gsf three-story building to identify existing deficiencies and propose building improvements. Subsequent
design and construction modifications included utilities upgrades featuring a new HVAC, mechanical hot water energy-efficient boiler system, new dedicated digital control system, select wall and floor finish upgrades, life safety improvements, fire protection, and ADA compliance. BWA’s work also included a new attractive light-filled steel-frame building addition
that now serves as the main accessible entrance to the courthouse.
