BWA Architecture designed a 450 SF addition to Kaffestugan, the in-house café for the Scandinavian Living Center. Centrally located on the site, the café serves the residents and guests of this assisted living center offering unique Scandinavian pastries. Recognizing that the café acts as the hub of activity and energy, the Living Center wanted to expand this space to facilitate a more dynamic atmosphere for the residents where they can relax and still feel engaged with the liveliness of their community.
